Home Hygiene Toolkit:

Developed with independent hygiene experts to help you educate patients on home hygiene. The toolkit identifies hygiene measures for individual risk situations and specific germs (including Influenza and Staphyloccocus Aureus), and identifies tailored hygiene practices for your patients. Includes fact sheets for healthcare professionals on minimising the risks.

Germs in your home:

This booklet will provide your patients with all they need to know about the germs that they share their homes with. Dr Chris Steele, resident GP on ITV's This Morning provides your patients with an easy to follow overview of different types of germs, information on how they spread, and advice on how to prevent the spread of infection through simple hygiene measures.

IFH Report:

Prepared by the International Scientific Forum on Home Hygiene (IFH), this report was compiled by leading hygiene experts on the three 'superbugs' - MRSA, C. difficile and E. coli. Although 'superbugs' pose little risk at home, the report states their evolution highlights the need for patient education. Includes fact sheets for healthcare professionals on minimising risks.
